Nursing Care is provided by registered nurses who act as the patient’s care manager making regular visits to the patient’s home to monitor the patient and provide expert pain and symptom management.

Social Work Services are available for patients and families who would benefit from emotional support and counseling. Social Workers can assist the entire family with the day to day concerns that often come when a patient is facing the end of life.

Home Care Aides are certified nursing assistants who provide expert personal care including dressing, bathing and grooming to insure the highest level of patient comfort.

Spiritual Care is provided by chaplains who offer non denominational support to patients and families and can act as a liaison with the patient’s own religious community.

Expressive Therapy in hospice care includes services that would be of interest and benefit to the patient including music, texture, art, sand therapy, message, journaling and Reiki.

Volunteers, specially trained in the needs of hospice patients and their families, can provide a variety of services to enhance and support care. Bereavement Support is counseling and support services totally focused on the needs of the caregivers and family. Services can include individual and group counseling as well as community based support groups for people of all ages. Click for a list of upcoming support groups.

Summer Break is a day long program for children who have experienced a loss of a family member, friend, teacher or pet.
