Merrimack Valley Hospice
Volunteer Services
About Us
Merrimack Valley Hospice volunteers come from all walks of life, with varied experiences, interests and skills but they all have one thing in common, the desire to make a difference in the lives of terminally ill patients and their families. And they do make a difference – every day!
Volunteers for Merrimack Valley Hospice must be over the age of 18. All volunteers are required to complete an application and interview by the coordinator of volunteers. Volunteers must also complete a volunteer training program to learn all about Merrimack Valley Hospice and the role of the hospice volunteer as an important member of the Hospice team. On average, volunteers work four to six hours per week. Ready to begin?
